It's September, and there is still a lot of color on the Bridge, with more to come.
We just planted a bunch of ornamental kale and mums, which are just beginning to bloom. Add that to an already colorful palette of Rudbeckia Prairie Sun, stunning bright yellow sunshine dappling the Bridge - Pink Turtlehead, Asters, Boltonia. Many different types of dahlias are giving a great show. They have different flower types, many different colors, and come short and tall. Sweet Autumn Clematis vine is starting to bloom along the south fence - little white starlike flowers. And some roses are still going strong. Interspersed amongst all this are some smaller annuals adding a lot of color - Torenia, Gerbera Daisy, Impatiens, Begonias, and Morning Glory, which is climbing up anything it can. And, soon, leaves on the trees will start changing to add to the show!
