Donate, Shop, or Volunteer
to Support the Bridge of Flowers

Please consider contributing to the beauty and maintenance of the Bridge.
Formal ways to
donate, shop, and volunteer are outlined below.
Donations

Donations of any amount may be made through the online form or by check, and they directly support the maintenance of the gardens of the Bridge of Flowers. All donations are tax deductible. The Bridge of Flowers Committee, which is composed entirely of volunteers who oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bridge, is a subcommittee of the Shelburne Falls Area Women’s Club, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

Individuals and businesses become Friends of the Bridge with a donation of $25 or more, even when giving in memory of or in honor of someone special. These types of donations are commemorated in different ways. Learn more about them on the following pages:

Thank you for your generosity!

Volunteer Opportunities
Blossom Brigade

Volunteers from the community, calling themselves the Blossom Brigade, work on the gardens of the Bridge under the supervision of the Head Gardener, Carol DeLorenzo, and the Assistant Gardener, Elliston Bingham. These volunteer gardeners work as often as they can. The two-hour work sessions take place twice weekly, beginning in April and continuing through October, on Wednesday evenings, 5:00-7:00 p.m., and on Friday mornings at seasonally adjusted times: April, 10 a.m.-noon; May, September, and October, 9:00-11:00 a.m.; June, July, and August,  8:00-10:00 a.m. Instructions to Blossom Brigade members are given by email from the Head Gardener. New helpers are welcome. Prior gardening experience is not required. Contact us for more information about joining the Blossom Brigade.
