During normal operating times, the Bridge of Flowers is open annually April 1 to October 31, weather permitting, 24-hours a day. There is no entrance fee, but donations are welcome.
However, the bridge is currently closed for repairs through 2025. View repair updates on the News page.
Visitors to the Bridge may express their appreciation by offering comments in the guest books, as well as donations in any amount, in the kiosks located at both entrances.
Accessibility
The Bridge is handicapped accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. The entrance on the Shelburne side, Water St., is best for dropping off passengers.

Restrooms
On the Buckland side of the river, there are restrooms in three locations:

inside Buckland Town Hall (weekdays only, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.);

behind the town hall (a portable toilet).
In the village of Shelburne Falls, the restrooms inside the Village Information Center may be used during open hours, Thursday-Monday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., May 1 to October 31. There is a portable toilet outside the Village Information Center that can be used anytime. Restrooms are not wheelchair accessible.
Pets
We admit service dogs only, as protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act. We do not allow pets or therapy animals on the Bridge. NOTE: Please do not leave pets in vehicles during summer weather.
